Come to the Yarra Valley to attend the fantastic Shedfest event, which the many small wineries in the region host.
Now over a decade old, the festival was established to showcase the unique charm of family-owned wineries and vineyards in the Yarra Valley.
Shedfest Wine Festival 2025 Dates & Entry Prices, Yarra Valley
Meander and explore the hidden gems of the Valley with two days of wine tasting, live music, delicious bites and stunning scenery across 14 family-run wineries.
On a Saturday and Sunday in October, enjoy the best in Victorian climate wines with your friends, kids, and even your fur babies (most venues are dog-friendly)!
In 2024, two new wineries participated for the first time—Yileena Park and Helen’s Hill Estate—while Six Acres and Seville Estate returned for the first time in several years.
To make it accessible for every budget, they changed the entry ticket to a flat $35. This will give you access to tastings at all participating wineries on one and/or two days.
A decadent and diverse selection of dishes under $25 will be available at each participating winery, ranging from Bahn Mi, pizzas and cheese platters to classic Italian fare and hearty burgers.
Kids and those with special dietary requirements won’t miss out either, with most wineries catering for both.
There will be glasses and bottles of wine to purchase, and different activities will be offered at the participating wineries—such as petting zoos, live music, classic car displays, lawn games, frozen cocktails, and more!
At the participating wineries, glasses and bottles of wine will be available for purchase, and different activities will be offered.
Not to mention, there will also be exclusive Shedfest cellar-door specials only available that weekend!
do you have to pre book tickets?
Hi Brenda,
I am not sure where you can purchase tickets on the day, so you are best to purchase online here from the official organisers.
Best regards,
Jess
Just wondering if every winery sells beer and cider as I don’t drink wine. Also is there buses around or do you have to organise you’re own lift between wineries?
Hi Tom,
I have attached a link here to a list of the wineries participating this year (scroll down the page). Unfortunately I don’t think you will find many that sell beer or cider. Check each individual winery for details about their offerings.
As for a lift, there are no shuttle services organised, but a few tour operators run in this area so might be able to assist you:
1. Yarra Valley Transfers
2. Wild Wombat Tours
3. Yarra Valley Specialty Tours and Transfers
Have a great time at Shedfest 2016!
Regards,
Jess

Hello, just wondering if there is any transport between the wineries please. Or from Lilydale to any of the wineries?
Thank you
Shanna
Hi Shanna,
There are no complimentary shuttle services, however there will be some tours running during Shedfest.
Check out Wombat Tours with the link here to give you an idea of pricing.
