The winery started its winemaking in 2000 and the vineyard presently comprises 38 acres of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. In addition, a number of exotic varieties are also grown here.

With the objective of producing the best-quality wines, the Medhurst Wines has always ensured that the vines are well-maintained and nurtured. Hence, they emphasise low yield and better quality which means that the wines produced at Medhurst are delicious and intensely flavoured.

There is also a restaurant on-site, Medhurst Cellar Door & More. The menu prepared by the Medhurst Cellar Door chefs to complement the vineyard’s wide range of wines and serves a variety of dishes including dips, olives, cheese platters, cold meats, panini’s and burgers.
