Four Pillars Distillery

Four Pillars Distillery is a small, Australian craft gin distillery that is based in the heart of the Yarra Valley.

In October 2015, Four Pillars moved into their new home, a gorgeous old timber yard on the main street in Healesville, which is only an hours drive from the Melbourne CBD.

At the Distillery door you’ll find all six of their gins for tasting and sale and a long copper bar serving paddles of G&Ts three ways. You can build-your-own-Negronis or Scotty’s Ginger Mules (gin and ginger beer) as well as enjoy some tasty nuts and olives, marmalade on toast, great coffee or some beer and wine.

At the back of the house, they have one of the finest gin distilleries in Australia. Wilma, their 450L Carl still has been joined by her slightly larger sister Jude (600L), and her tiny sibling Eileen (50L). You can see the stills in action daily, as Four Pillars distil their core gins as well as a host of other experimental and occasionally random gins; Bloody Shiraz Gin anyone?

Four Pillars Distillery also offer tours and masterclasses and are open seven days a week, so pop by and see it all for yourself next time you’re in the Yarra Valley.

Walk-in tastings are available at $10/person, refundable with the purchase of any 700ml bottle of gin.
